36 hours of instruction includes:
- 30 hours of classroom sessions* (materials included)
- Four or five, three-hour lessons. Student drives between 75 and 85 minutes and then observes another student's drive lesson. This observation time does not apply towards their 6 hours of driving lessons but it can help students learn without the stress of controlling the vehicle.
- To keep students comfortable, we do not allow a minor female student alone in a vehicle with a male instructor.
- Colorado driver's permit written exam
- Driving skills course
- Colorado driving test (by appointment, $75 additional)

6-Hours of Behind the Wheel Training
(4-5 drive Sessions)

This is an Introduction to Driving.
Students will rotate through three different stations where they experience an introduction to basic steering, basic parking, and the more advanced skill of skid recovery.
Students will drive our vehicles during Skills.
- Skid Recovery
(Skid recovery simulates regaining control of a vehicle on icy and snowy roads)
- Braking techniques
(Control, Threshold, Panic)
- Turning Techniques
(Hand-over-hand or push-pull)

30-Hour Classroom, Skills Range & Written Test

Not recommended for students under 16 years old.
In-person classroom, Skills Range and written permit test. 30 hours of classroom training including all laws and regulations and written test. Students will experience wearing drunk goggles, exploring under the hood of the car, observing traffic patterns. Fun classroom atmosphere with interactive games to encourage learning.
This package does NOT includes 6 hours of Behind the Wheel driving lessons that Colorado requires for students under the age of 16 1/2.
Permit Written Exam
Everyone must take written test to receive driver's permit. If your driver's license was revoked or suspended, you will need take a written test before your your permit can be issued. You must bring a photo ID to take the written test. You can take the test within 30 days of turning 15 years old as long as you've completed 30 hours of driver's education. If you are 16 years or older, you don't need the 30 hours of driver's education to take the written test. All policies are required by the state of Colorado. We are a certified, third-party testing site for the Colorado DMV. The DMV must issue a permit or driver's license.
Driving Test
If you are under the age of 18 years old, you need to hold your permit for a year before obtaining your driver's license. If you are under the age of 16 1/2, you also need to complete the 6 hours of behind-the-wheel driving lessons. If you have an out-of-state permit and under the age of 18, you can take one driving test. If you are over 18, you must exchange it for a Colorado driver's permit. All policies are required by the state of Colorado. We are a certified, third-party testing site for the Colorado DMV. The DMV must issue a permit or driver's license.
